California Governor champions Solar Power

The US state of California’s governor Jerry Brown  has gone a step further on his previous  support

One of Mr Browns main strategies to reach this goal is a dramatic increase in rooftop solar in the notoriously sunny locale.power with a new target to have 50% of “the golden state’s” energy to come from renewable sources by 2030.

Solar power is one of the most widely deploy-able renewable technologies working from sun drenched climes like California to more northerly counties in Europe. No other renewable technology is as versatile and can be used in such varying climates.

California is naturally a dry and sunny climate making solar an even more productive option than it already is, whilst also bringing it head and shoulders above renewable technologies that are more reliant on geography, topography and exposure such as wind and hydro electricity.

“How we achieve these goals and at what pace will take great thought and imagination mixed with pragmatic caution,” Brown said. “It will require enormous innovation, research and investment. And we will need active collaboration at every stage with our scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, businesses and officials at all levels.”

From California to Coventry, Solar PV  is proving a viable and sustainable option for future energy requirements. Contact Us today to find out more.
